Bacchus Marsh Strawberry & Cherry Festival 2026: What to See and Do
Plan a relaxed weekend at Bacchus Marsh’s free-entry Strawberry & Cherry Festival, with seasonal fruit, market stalls, family activities and Saturday-night fireworks.

A November weekend for fruit lovers
From Friday 13 to Sunday 15 November 2026, Bacchus Marsh’s town centre will host its annual Strawberry & Cherry Festival. The festival brings together seasonal fruit, market stalls, food trucks, live entertainment and carnival attractions. Entry is free; some rides, activities and purchases may cost extra.
The festival precinct is centred on Main Street, with activities also taking place around Graham Street, the Public Hall, Village Green and Eddie Toole Park. Check the festival’s official website before setting out in case event details change.
Four ways to enjoy the festival
1. Browse the fruit and market stalls
Take a first lap along Main Street and Graham Street before deciding what to buy. Depending on availability, you may find strawberries, cherries, jams and berry-themed treats alongside market stalls. Seasonal produce and stall offerings can vary.
2. Take a break at the Public Hall
The Public Hall is scheduled to host CWA Devonshire tea, sandwiches and community arts activities. It’s a handy place to pause before heading back to the festival precinct.
3. Make time for the family activities
Village Green is a hub for food trucks, entertainment and carnival attractions. Around Eddie Toole Park, the programme is expected to include activities such as small rides, an animal farm, face painting and a Scouts climbing wall. Some activities may have separate charges, so check details on the day.
4. Stay for Saturday-night fireworks
The festival schedule lists fireworks for Saturday 14 November, with a published window of approximately 9:30–9:45 pm. Treat the timing as subject to event updates and check the official programme before you go.
A simple festival-day route
- Browse the fruit and market stalls on Main Street and Graham Street.
- Stop at the Public Hall for Devonshire tea or a sandwich.
- Spend the afternoon around Village Green and the family activities near Eddie Toole Park.
- If visiting on Saturday, stay for the evening entertainment and scheduled fireworks.
Thinking about fruit picking?
Fruit picking is separate from the town-centre festival, and orchards set their own opening days and conditions. Ripeness, weather and visitor numbers can affect availability; a farm may close when ripe fruit is picked or sold out. Before travelling to an orchard, check its latest update directly. Naturipe Fruits and Payne’s Orchards publish picking information on their websites. The festival’s official site also lists local orchard information, including Dellios Orchards.

Handy tips

- If fruit picking is part of your plan, confirm orchard availability on the day rather than assuming it is open because the festival is on.
